I support you in identifying the causes of burnout and work with you to develop strategies for overcoming exhaustion.
Burnout coaching helps you develop strategies to create a healthier, more balanced, and more fulfilling future. The main focus is on enabling you to live a more balanced life by achieving a better positive energy balance (i.e., the difference between energy sources and energy losses in your life).
Burnout syndrome is an exhaustion syndrome of the psycho-vegetative system that has become very widespread in recent years.
Burnout, also known as burnout, is a consequence of prolonged stress. Whether this stress is positive or negative is less important. After pushing themselves beyond their limits for an extended period, the affected person falls into a state of extreme mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion.
Burnout is a collection of symptoms, both severe and mild, that can lead to serious illnesses. However, it is not a clearly defined, verifiable disease. The affected person feels miserable, consults doctors, and usually receives no satisfactory physical diagnosis. Often, they are even labeled as malingerers, which exacerbates their suffering and thus their symptoms.
Often, the focus is solely on alleviating the symptoms through medication, without addressing the underlying causes or tackling the root of the problem.
Our biological patterns haven’t fundamentally changed. Nevertheless, burnout is becoming increasingly common. This suggests that the cause of burnout lies in a shift in values and outlook on life. While physical symptoms and stress can certainly be treated with medication in the short term, this doesn’t resolve the fundamental issues. In the long run, only one thing will help: critically examining your personal behavioral and thought patterns, as well as your values.
In coaching, the client works with guidance on their attitudes, thought patterns, and behaviors, discovering starting points for change.
